Services
Large Movement Therapy Room
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide therapy for children and teens utilizing our LARGE MOVEMENT THERAPY ROOMS. These spaces allow children and teens to be comfortable in a safe and age-appropriate environment.
Our large movement therapy rooms can be used for individual or group sessions depending on the needs of the person. Oak Tree Child and Family Services has two large movement spaces: one for children 2 years through 7 years of age, and one for 8 years of age on up.
Individual Therapy
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide INDIVIDUAL THERAPY for teens and adults. Individual Therapy gives teens and adults the opportunity to confidentially talk through problems or situations with one of our therapists or with our life coach. Each
session is tailored to meet your needs. Individual therapy equips individuals with the tools needed to cope with their challenges more appropriately.
Group Therapy and Large Movement Therapy Room
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide GROUP THERAPY for children and
adults. We have a variety of groups available throughout each week. In group therapy,
one of our therapists or our life coach will lead a small group of participants who often
share their challenges with each other, give each other feedback, and try problem-
solving together. Group Therapy is a great way to get started in your therapeutic
journey.
Couples Therapy
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide COUPLES THERAPY for those that
may need to address challenges they may be experiencing in their relationship. Couples
therapy can help you and your partner improve your relationship or develop positive
strategies for moving forward in whichever direction you may choose.
Art Room
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide an ART ROOM to give our clients an outlet for expressing themselves through painting, drawing, and various other art forms. This space allows a client to explore their emotions, understand conflicts or feelings that may be causing them distress, and provide them an opportunity to find resolutions to their challenges.
Family Therapy
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide FAMILY THERAPY to help improve
the relationships among family members. Family Therapy can take place in one of our
therapist's offices, or in the play or art therapy rooms. In family therapy, a group can consist of many different combinations of loved ones, such as parents/guardians and their children, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, kinship caregivers, etc.
Psychiatric Nurse Prescriber
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide Medication
Management services. Our Psychiatric Nurse Prescriber provides exceptional care to their patients through individual counseling
and/or medication management. Our APNP is available to meet with children through late
adulthood. Our Prescriber can perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and
treat psychiatric conditions, prescribe medications and provide psychotherapy.
Parenting
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide PARENTING programs to assist you
in learning skills to better parent and/or
co-parent your children. Our therapists and life
coach have extensive training in Love and Logic, Nurturing Parenting, and other
programs to assist you.
Our Parenting programs can either be done individually or in a group setting.
Music Therapy
At Oak Tree Child and Family Services we provide MUSIC THERAPY to give our clients an outlet for expressing themselves through music. Music therapy allows a client to explore their emotions, understand conflicts or feelings that may be causing them distress, and provide them an opportunity to find resolutions to their challenges.
